DUO#DustCollect® Centrifugal Filter – Efficient filtration of fine dust down to dust class M

Highly effective dust filtration for industrial extraction systems – reduces fine dust exposure, extends maintenance intervals, and stabilizes your production processes.

When is a centrifugal filter the right choice?

Centrifugal filters are used when both fine dust particles and coarser particle fractions need to be reliably removed from the air stream. Fine dust, in particular, is generated in corrugated cardboard, printing, and paper processing, and cannot be adequately captured using pre-separators alone.
By combining centrifugal pre-separation with a downstream filter stage, centrifugal filters achieve significantly higher separation efficiency, even for small particle sizes. They are typically used in applications where there are high requirements for air purity, process stability, and operational reliability.

How the DUO#DustCollect® Centrifugal Filters Work

The DUO#DustCollect® centrifugal filters combine fine filtration and centrifugal separation in a coordinated integrated system. Coarser particles and paper debris are deflected outward by the centrifugal forces acting within the system and collected in the collection container. The dust-laden air stream is passed through the filter media, where fine dust particles are reliably captured.
This operating principle effectively removes both fine dust and coarse particle fractions from the air stream. Depending on the model, filter cleaning can be performed manually or automatically using compressed air, ensuring consistently high filtration performance during continuous operation.
The result is a compact and high-performance solution for dust filtration in industrial extraction systems.

Centrifugal filter or Centrifugal Collector?

A centrifugal filter is the right choice when fine dust particles need to be reliably separated. For applications involving mainly coarse paper particles and very high air volumes, however, we recommend using a DUO#DustCollect® Centrifugal Collector.
