DUO#ColorControl® Particle Filter – Clean Ink Circulation for Protected Print Units

Reliable removal of metallic and solid particles from printing ink protects anilox rollers, reduces wear and stabilizes your printing processes.

Why Is Ink Filtration Important?

Solid particles and metallic contaminants within the ink circulation system can cause increased wear on anilox rollers, pumps and piping components. Even small particles act abrasively during continuous operation, negatively affecting print quality and the service life of sensitive components.
Without targeted filtration, these contaminants accumulate in the system and increase maintenance requirements over time. An integrated particle filter ensures a clean ink circuit and reliably protects downstream components from damage and contamination.
Especially in high-speed and high-volume production environments, consistent ink cleanliness is a key factor for long-term operational reliability.

Functional Principle of the DUO#ColorControl® Particle Filter

The DUO#ColorControl® Particle Filter is integrated directly into the ink circulation system and reliably removes both solid and metallic particles from the circulating printing ink.
Inside the unit, a powerful magnetic and mechanical filtration concept separates contaminants from the ink flow and collects them within the filter housing. Metallic particles are captured by the magnetic system, while solid contaminants are retained by the filtration element.
Captured particles can be easily removed during scheduled maintenance intervals. The system operates without complex mechanical components and integrates compactly into existing ink supply systems.
Continuous filtration keeps the ink clean while effectively protecting sensitive components such as anilox rollers, pumps and valves.
